“Unique, adaptable, technologically-enabled learning environments that transform education”
Montcrest School supports 21st century education and is dedicated to cultivating programming that inspires critical thinking, initiative, entrepreneurship, curiosity, and imagination.
In keeping with these objectives, Montcrest has embarked on its largest redevelopment project to date with the selective demolition, adaptation, and expansion of its facilities.
This initiative is transforming education and administration spaces across campus, providing adaptable, technology-enabled learning and working environments that support the changing needs of the School community. Students and staff will benefit from improved, expanded classrooms, more social and gathering spaces, a new Science Lab and iSTEAM facility, a large art room full of natural light, a large music room, and new Learning Garden for outdoor education. All of these spaces are unique in that they can be put to different uses with little effort and without compromise
Montcrest prizes the legacy of its built environment, the character of its site, and the wonderful local amenities it has at its backdoor. The design, therefore, works diligently to respect and respond to the context in which it is to be delivered. As part of a larger network, buildings and spaces are crafted to work efficiently and synergistically, creating a campus that is greater than the sum of its parts.
